INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
There
are a lot of ways for our members to get more deeply invovled. Below are a list
of some of the volunteer opportunities, a short description of the
responsibilities and the contact person in charge.

Sound Tech
Operating
the sound board is an important part of the worship service. We
need people willing to learn to share the responsibility of running it. Contact Jeremy Kidd to find out more.
Children's Church Coordinator for the Younger Bible Hour
The
responsiblities include scheduling teachers for 2 1/2 to 4 year olds
and ensuring the teacher has that day's lesson. Currently teachers
are assigned throught June 15th. Contact Chris McCan for more

Greeters
Each week there is an opportunity to greet members and visitors as
they arrive for bible class and worship service. Although handing out
the weeks bulletin or other communications is important, the real need
and focus for greeters is to welcome everyone and assist visitors with
finding their way to classes and worship service. A cheerful and warm
welcome can go far in making members feel appreciated and making
visitors feel at home.
Duties:
Be available at the main entrance from 8:45 - 9:15 and again from
9:45 - 10:15 on scheduled Sundays.
Greet all who enter and assist those in need.
Provide visitors with church information and introduce them to
available ministers or elders.
Help visitors find appropriate classes for their children.
Answer the church phone when it rings.
This is a great way to keep in touch with members as well as meet
visitors, and it serves a great need.

Events Coordinator for Middlers
The
Middlers is the childrens group for ages 3rd - 6th grade. This
group has one event per month hosted by various families. This
person would be responsible for scheduling families to host middler
events and contacting middler families with the activity information.
Currently
there are activities scheduled through October. Contact Chris
McCan for more information.
