Tour de Togo: Hall of Fame
Please help me correct and update my records.  I need to know how many tours you've done.  I ask that each rider fill out a form.  I've included t-shirt/garment descriptions and what I remember of the route to help jog your memory. My memory needs a jog too.  Open your T-shirt drawer and let's reminisce.

Thanks much, -Kent.

1992  The T-shirt was an after-thought which became a tradition.  Blue shirt with black imprint.

First ever, nine riders in all.  Two vehicles supported. Rained entire first day.  Centerville to Moose Lake, Hibbing, Camp.

1993  Green T-shirt with pink and white imprint on back. And a small "C.O.G.S." logo on the front.

Same route as 92.

1994

White T-shirt with bike logo.  Actual color background on shirt was blue at top, fade to yellow, fade to red on bottom.

Same route as 92 - 93.

1995

White T-shirt with bike logo.  Actual color background on shirt was red at top, fade to yellow, fade to green on bottom.

Same route as 92 - 94.

1996

White T-shirt with biker riding into sunset.  This artwork was "borrowed" from the TREK 100 charity ride.

Don Helgager and Jim Williamson lead this tour.

Same route as 92 - 95.

1997

White T-shirt with first-ever Bear On Bike, or "BOB" logo.

This was the infamous St.Cloud start.  110 miles the first, very hot, day.  Then Aitkin to Hibbing, to Camp.

A great turn-out, but next year's numbers dropped.  Humm?!

1998

Off-white 3/4 sleeve polo with Mountain bike logo embroidered on the front breast. Sorry, no good artwork available.

I believe we went back to the Hugo, Moose Lake, Hibbing, Camp route.

1999

Off-whte T-shirt with BOB logo on back.  Small BOB on the front breast.

Hugo, Moose Lake, Hibbing, camp.  Very hot.  We had the two tandem recumbents with us.

2000

White T-shirt with simple non-descript MN logo.

I believe this was the four day Woodbury to Hinkley, to Esko, to Hibbing, to camp.

2001

The big Green T-shirts with BOB logo embroidered on front breast.

Don't remember much about the route.

2002

White T-shirt with BOB logo. This shirt had the towns we went through listed on the back.  This one, I remember.

I believe Allen Keller lead this one.

Brainerd, Remer, Hibbing, Camp

2003

Blue Bear jersey.

Park Rapids to Remer, to Hibbing, to Camp.

This Trevor's first year leading the tour.

2004

Full custom jersey with a good amount of corporate sponsorship.

Hinkley to Duluth, to Hibbing, to Camp.  The climb from Duluth is still talked about.

Trevor Thomas was our fearless leader.  Best ever pledge total close to 20K.

.

2005

"Bearly Made It" bicycle jersey by Primal Ware.

We went back to old school, Hugo, Moose Lake, Hibbing, Camp.

39 riders equals all-time best. Trevor rocks.

2006  Duluth, Biwabik, Hibbing, Camp. Shorter but hilly. Tour Bag was the prize.

2007  Camp, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Camp. First ever loop route. 30 riders got jersey. 14 rookies!

2008

Full custom bicycle jersey with FPYC sunset.

Old school route: Hugo, Moose Lake, Hibbing, Camp.

22 riders - down a bit but, great pledge total.

Thanks again, hope to see you all at next year's Tour de Togo.
