Back to FPYC

The Tour de Togo Benefit Bicycle Ride or TdT, is an annual event, which raises operating revenue for Flaming Pine Youth Camp. The camp is located in northern Minnesota on Mirror Lake near the little town of Togo. Bicycle riders ask for and collect pledges from family and friends in support of Christian camping at FPYC.

The camp is a non-profit organization and accepts all children to its sessions.  Youth activities include nature studies, sports, and social interaction.   Bringing the children closer to creation and their Creator is a foundational theme.

The 2008 tour route is a favorite. Starting in Hugo (just north of the Twin Cities) hitting lots of bicycle trail, the first day to Moose Lake is long, at 90 plus miles, but is very very flat. The second day around 75 miles brings us to Hibbing and into the Iron Range. After a sunrise worship, we'll make the last 50 miles to camp.

ATTENTION: We are doing a top-secret, full custom Ride Jersey this year. You'll have to trust me, but it looks awesome!

Our goal: 50/15. That is, 50 riders and $15,000 for FPYC. We can do it! A big push will be made to get Rookie (first-time) riders and we will certainly be rewarding those who recruit new talent.
